"The Decelerator" a Multi-city Video Installation

Presented simultaneously in three cities, featuring a variety of videos and video-mapped installations by eight video artists from Europe and the Americas, “The Decelerator” includes a subterranean sound piece commissioned for the exhibition by the German Industrial musician Alexander Hacke (Einstürzende Neubauten) which plays throughout the respective spaces. The mix of work installed within this single soundtrack is an exciting and conceptually new form of exhibition.

Curator Leo Kuelbs hired MVT as projectionist and technical supervisor of the New York installation site located at the Allan Nederpelt gallery in Brooklyn. Here are a few shots of the build and opening night :
